Frequently Asked Questions

Are there differences between the First and Second Editions of Blaine's books?

Blaine's Second Edition books—as re-released by Cayendi Press—have been re-edited and revised. While the essence of the stories remain the same, some details might have been added/changed/cleared up.

In the case of Oren's Right, Blaine saw the opportunity to add a scene she'd been thinking about for a while.

Do I need to buy the Second Edition when I already own the First Edition?

No, you don't. You're free to email Blaine at Cayendi Press with proof of purchase and your preferred e-format, and she'll send you a free e-copy of the 2nd edition.

How can I get an epub or pdf version of Blaine's self-published books that are only available on Amazon?

Same as above. Email Blaine at Cayendi Press with proof of purchase, and she'll send you your preferred format.

So, Aliens, Smith and Jones is a series now?

The Primrose Files is a series much like Tales of the Forest. At this time there are two unfinished drafts lying around set in the same world as Aliens, Smith and Jones. Both are set into the future and will have different main characters. One of them features a lesbian couple, the other a M/Ftrans couple. At least Noah may make a cameo appearance in both, though... anything is possible with him.

What is Cayendi Press?

Cayendi Press is Blaine's self-publishing imprint, meant for re-releases of previously published books, freebies, works related to Blaine's series universes—like Tales of the Forest and The Primrose Files—and her YA and Poetry works, published under different pseudonyms.

Why does Payhip need my address when buying a Cayendi Press book?:

Unfortunately many countries use different VAT rates for ebooks, and by asking for your address, Payhip can calculate the VAT for each country correctly.
